Fairy themed birthday party ideas

Fairy welcome🎂

My little one turned six this weekend and we threw a party. My daughter loves fairies and I wanted to surprise her. So we put it all together the night before. It was work, but it was so worth the smile and excitement it brought on her face, the next morning.

Now, would you like some ideas?

A list of things that were on the table :

  • A giantwheel cupcake holder with eight cupcakes, purchased in walmart.
  • Four lit up artificial plants with fairies and play ponds on them, all purchased separately from Shein and put together.
  • Fairy frame and the birthday girl’s picture printed on a 12″ cake, from Dulce Deleche bakery.
  • Cake toppers and cupcake toppers from Shein.
  • A heart shaped golden box of roses next to a fairy rose, from Shein.

Images of them :

For the background, we put together many different items purchased from Party city and Shein, along with some things I made from scratch. All low budget items but the result was nothing short of amazing.

Made entirely with paper and origami sheets
Shiny lanterns
Stars and artificial leaves on top
Butterfly on a flower balloon
Flying fairies
Super six
Mushroom lights on the name
Lit up balloon stand

And all on the backdrop of Foil fringe curtains.

Colors and fairies 🧚‍♀️

Hope this blog helped plan another awesome party. Oh! and then, don’t forget to smile! 😇

Daily writing prompt
Do you have a quote you live your life by or think of often?

People don’t think about you as much as you think they do. So don’t spend too much time trying to fit in. Make your own choices. Take care of yourself, physically and mentally.

Spring treat

Look who’s here!
Angelic white these are, Blackthorn blossoms at Spring.
Here’s some gold!
Bursts of yellow popping up to greet you, these Wild Daffodils steal your heart.

Spring snaps these little beauties out of their slumber. The until then dreary park around the corner comes alive with colourful blossoms and delighted children.

Everyone hits rock bottom every once in a while, but what really matters is rising back up and showing up the next day. This is life. To me, Spring mirrors life!🥂

Scared

If you could permanently ban a word from general usage, which one would it be? Why?

If I could, I would not only ban it, I would altogether abolish the meaning of the word, ‘Scared’, take it out of all our systems. And I believe that will help me and everyone else who get that “I’m scared” panic, at the face of trying something new.

New experiences are the reason life goes on. Throw away the scares, live it all! 🥂

Snow

Hot tea, everyone!

After an almost no-snow January, it was a pleasant surprise to see my backyard covered in a thin sheet of snow when I woke up today.

Of course, snow hinders our daily activities a lot, but personally I was hoping for it to snow. I like the scrunch of it under my boots, it’s color bringing in purity from the skies. The sheer strength of snow is amazing to me. It falls all flakey, simple flurries no heavier than the smallest of flowers. But it settles hard, us huffing and puffing to shovel it out of our way.

Yes, I’m a winter lover through and through!
